Using Bamboo / carbon laminate technology they’re sure to be super light, stiff and look the part., and will retail at sub £800.
Ranging from surfy 9’0” low volume wave shapes up to to 10'6" fun and function cruisers.
Using the highest grade materials possible;
closed cell, lightweight, structural EPS foam core
A combination of prepreg and hand wet lay carbon fibres for the stringer, rails and deck surfaces
Kevlar reinforced rails, tail and nose
Post cured vacuum infused Epoxy construction.
Finally all tied in sexy 0.6mm bamboo laminate veneer adding external impact resistance.
All boards are hand shaped based on laser templates, and consolidated with vacuuum bagging technology with Epoxy post curing.
We feel this is the ultimate construction methods to deliver robust, lightweight boards with the desired Longitudinal flex resistance and torsion control.
The wave 9'0" and 9’6” Turbo’s are wide, stable and compact. Using a balanced volume, and narrow swallow tail, the shape offers immediate success for intermediate to progressive riders looking for responsive performance on the wave face.
With a QUAD FCS fin box and windsurf mast foot attachment points, and EVA deck pads as standard.
The Cruise 10'0" 10’6” are Easy, fun, and stable with generous volume forward for all levels of cruising and surfing. Plenty of glide also make it a good long distance cruiser. A surprisingly thin tail also allows for responsive turning. A great all round board. With Tri FCS fin box and windsurf mast foot attachment points, and EVA deck pads as standard.
And rest assured that all K3designs SUP equipment is covered by a 2 year warranty against laminate or structural failures.
